1. I saw them a couple years ago in
Memphis. They played at W. C. Handy park, a free show. I was there on business and had some time to kill so what the heck.

4. He is my Step Fathers nephew. I grew up just 8 miles from
Black Oak Arkansas. It's a small town of about 200 people and I saw them perform live at a July 4th celebration in my teen years. It was great he was rockin' and some of the local rednecks start talkin' shit so he came down and a riot ensued. One of my fondest memories.

7. Worst band I ever saw
They opened for King Crimson and Spooky Tooth. They were execrable. Somebody once described them as six guys, each one knows one chord, and they try to coordinate a whole song. They weren't quite that bad in fact, but their stuff was really stoopid, and Jim Dandy Mangrum was an absolute cartoon of frat boy testosterone in hippie drag. They were basically trying to do Z.Z. Top, except it took them twice as many people, and they still couldn't cut it.

8. Speaking of what were listening to. I'm listening to Dr. Hook and
the Medicine show, Sloppy Seconds. Freakers Ball is great.
