Poll question: How old are you?
If it's not too personal to ask, I'm wondering what the age demographic is here in the Lounge. If you don't want to say exactly how old you are, just vote in the poll, if you do want to say, post it when you vote! I'll start off, I'm 22. :D

It's strange to be this age. I'm having a bunch of fun in my life now, except for the national scene (arghhh). My kids are grown up and successful young women; I have 2 sons-in-law whom I adore, and one fabulous grandson...Plus my incredible husband. Life is (mostly) good...

I wish the same for all you incredibly smart and funny DU'ers!

54. I'm at that point and am glad
not to have children to worry about. I always suspected the younger generations might end up as hostages to fortune. Sad to think this is the case. And there was so much positive potential in this society at one time! Perhaps the situation may be improved but it will require all our collective efforts to make that happen.

58. me too, but less every year
the best is when they really insist that they know I'm under age and they find out I'm WAY over drinking age. That hasn't happened in a couple of years though. It probably won't happen again.
Last year I was at the grocery store buying wine and got carded by the cashier. The bag checker said, "you'd card your own grandma." Talk about ego deflating.

B.T.W. the legal drinking age in Britain is 18, otherwise I'd have waited a few more years before stopping.
