9. That's cool.
Edited on Wed Mar-09-05 01:55 AM by Radical Activist
I met him a few times when he was a state Rep and liked him. He was supportive of College Democrats back then too. I was recently asked to go there and help out a little because apparently he's a little worried about his re-election. I hope he wins.

12. He's definitely got a very tough race on his hands.
The economy here hasn't been so good, jobs have been leaving, but that's really not Doug's fault. He's not as proactive as I'd like him to be, but I think he's better than anyone else we could put up.

14. I think the O's have a shot at winning 80-85 games.
Mind you, this is in the AL East, of course, so that won't get them nowhere. Our former diva will probably do better in Baltimore than he would have if he'd stayed, but I think the Cubbies have an excellent shot with our starting rotation, solid 3-4-5 hitters, and a healthy Nomar coming back. What we need, though, is bullpen help, desperately.

Vasquez is with AZ, I believe.
But that's Steinbrenner's M.O. If you don't win, throw as much money as you can at the best free agents in the off season, and hope you do win. Hasn't worked for him yet. It didn't work when he was buying Dave Winfield and Rickey Henderson, et al, and it ain't working now.

when he had told her to call back last thursday and tonight he bitches her out for calling and demands to know why she called in and she says, very timidly, "because you told me to".

she wasn't a freeper, she wasn't a repuke, she was nice, polite, and just like you and me.

and he ended up slapping her around.

3rd grade: puck to the crotch

Needless to say, I don't play as much sports as I used to. :P

77. I beat the Phillies two of three
:). Just shut out the Braves, I may play another game before I go to bed too. Its really a good game, its the one with Jeter on the cover and Joe Morgan and Jon Miller do the commentary, you cant go wrong with that.

No, it wasn't him, it was our dumbass, pretty-boy shortstop who coughed up an easy double play. Douchebag A-Gonz.
