Kitten Born With Two Faces
Kitten Born With Two Faces

LAKE CITY, Fla. -- When Teresa Morrison's cat had a litter Tuesday, she noticed something was different about one of the kittens.

"I thought it had growth on its face," she said.

The kitten has two mouths, two noses and four eyes. She immediately called her veterinarian.

"He said he's never seen it. Never," Morrison said.

2. Twice the kitty to love, I guess
I just hope that the extra face doesn't cause medical problems.

5. I wonder if this has something to do with pollution
like the fish in the Potomac River with both sets of sex organs.

6. we were thinking something like
if it had absorbed another kitten in the womb. I understand it happens sometimes. Anyone else know anything like this happening?

7. It happens some times
I've seen a number of pix of two faced cats and several two headed turtles. It's pretty much the same process that causes Siamese twins only an extreme version....

Khash.

9. My sister's cat gave birth to a kitten much the same
It had two noses. I don't remember about the eyes, just these two pink noses. One of the other kittens in the litter was missing its hind legs, and another kitten was missing its whole hind end. We figured there were too many kittens in such a small cat. A couple of the kittens were okay.
