Ok, please bear with me, I'm new to this.
My girlfriend here at work was just telling me about her 16 year old son's career day at school. He was all excited and told her that the school was going to have 'local' people in to speak about different careers. He signed up to listen to a mechanic and an engineer. When he came home and she asked him about how it went, he was very excited. She thought this was great, since he has not been doing very well in school this year. She asked him who the locals were. He told her they were all guys from the ARMY and the MARINES!!! Now he is all gung ho to sign up! Needless to say she is livid! She has fired off a couple emails to the school.
Anyone else have this happen at their child's school??

Another woman we work with said her son has been called on the phone, three times, by different recruiters! He has no intention of signing up, but some of his friends have. Scary out there to be a young male. I will ship my son off to Mexico if the draft comes back.

They save the recruiters for high school. It's really damn annoying to see recruiters there all the time.

Way back when I was in School, they would not allow the military to come in.

You didn't have any typos. That is very rare for someone so "new".
Wow the whole day was military recruiters. I have nothing against them having to do what they have to do ("It's just my job" is NOT an acceptable excuse for anything) but that sounds like a set up to me.
