I need computer help...again! |
|
Simple question. Every time I go to save an image file (no matter what the type) it saves it as a .bmp file. I don't want a .bmp file! I want a .jpeg if it's a JPEG or a .gif if it's a GIF! Why does it save it as .bmp and how do I fix it?
Thanks! :)

1. You don't have a "Save As" feature? What program are you in? |

Let me try to remember how I fixed it
There is a fix for it for sure... I just can't remeber it. Give me 10 minutes to try harder :)

4. Here, so you have it handy if you tun into it again |
|
Go to tools dropdown Go to internet options Delete cookies Delete files and make sure you check the offline files and then say click OK
If that does not help:
Go to tools dropdown Go to internet options Click on settings View objects Delete anything that doesn't say installed
This is all done in your IE browser :)

Basically, you've accumulated too many temporary files and IE is having trouble listing them. Deleting all you're 'temperary internet files' under Options will fix it.
