Is anyone getting tired of.... |
|
I'm leaving DU!
When I first started on DU I wanted to leave everyday because what I posted there were not any responses or some sarcastic comments. I've learned to deal with it. There are days I am not all that emotionally involved with GD, I just skim through the info, respond, maybe, maybe not, go on to the next post. If it is bothering me I go the lounge. There are many choices on DU. You don't need to leave, just find your comfort spot on DU.

1. I have never cared for "goodbye cruel board" posts. |
|
I've been participating in bulletin boards in one capacity or another for a good many years. Some I've stayed with, many I've left (never in a huff or angry over something). I've never posted a "goodbye" post. I just stop posting if the bulletin board is no longer serving my needs or is no longer a positive part of my online time.
I understand that sometimes people feel like they need them to close that chapter in their lives; I've just never cared for them.
