1. I don't own it but...

... I have had it up to here with CDNOW suggesting it to me. Christ, I can be looking at anything: rap, metal, electronic, bluegrass, and the site will say "based on your search we would like to make a suggestion: Franz Ferdinand".

I have boycotted them because of it.

I don't usually like "catchy" songs, or if I do, I like them for a few weeks/months then get terminally bored.

"Take Me Out" has escaped both of those categories :)

8. They sound too derivative of a lot of the bands on Postcard Records

in the early 80's: Josef K, Orange Juice, early Aztec Camera, etc. for my tastes.

And they sound a lot like the Strokes, who I didn't much care for either. In six years, everyone will have forgotten about them.

Anyways, right now, I'm importing the new Ben Folds EPs into my iPod. After this, it's the Archers of Loaf "Vee Vee" album (really good stuff, if you never heard it.)
