His defn of a "great American" is a little fucked up, so don't take it so harshly. His press conferences are total shams, anyway. Wolfowitz probably stood there smirking along side Bush who was taking floaters for questions. Shit like, "What skills will Wolfowitz bring from the Pentagon to his new position?"

Never would they ask something closer to, "Given the miscalculations of Wolfowitz's department with regard to post-war (or -invasion) Iraq, how can we be sure that his appointment will be beneficial to the poor throughout the world?" or even "What is Mr. Wolfowitz's position on African debt relief?"

I have been using that term for quite awhile now.

My Dad is a recovering alcoholic, went to a 28 day program, but no AA. He is a dry drunk.

The very first time that I saw Bush, I had that shiver down your spine and was convinced he was the prince of darkness. I never had that feeling before or since.

Now, I can't determine whether it is a premonition type thing or just that he reminds me of the evil dry drunk in my life. They are so much alike in their pride, arrogance, lies, quick to anger, inability to make make mistakes, etc.

Either way, neither are good people.
