After the Peterson Trial?

It was like he'd waited all his life to be on a jury and get to sentence someone to death or something.

The cops should keep their eyes on him.

4. Yeah, I posted that earlier
And no one on DU took notice.... consider the "WAR ON TERROR" and all, you'd think the US media would have been covering this a little more... and that more duers would care.

6. The idiots name is Roberto Emrick
Quote from tonight's Larry King:

EMERICK: Well, I've just got to tell you right off the bat. As I was going through this trial, it was very emotional, and it took a couple years off my life. And what I did was I chronolized (ph) everything and I put it on a CD. And here it is, "Judgment Day." And it's available live on webtv.com. As far as answering your question, if you can repeat that again, I will.

IDIOT! It's a crime in California to profit IN ANY WAY from a jury trial for 60 or 90 days. It SHOULD be atleast a YEAR!!!

9. Hey, don't knock WebTV. I had it for a while.
It served its purpose. It was sort of neat to surf the Web on a 27-inch TV while lying on my couch. But its capabilities are limited and I finally broke down and bought a PC. I need a new PC now, so please tell me where I can get one for $100.

13. So did I...
I had it from 1996 to 98; went from the Classic to the Plus. Back then, there was a good point to be made that webtv was a cheap alternative to pc's, but that's not true today. I have a older friend who's still hooked up to MSN TV and they are paying more each month and doing less w/ their box then their daughter who has dial-up and a Pentium II..

11. I wonder if Peterson's lawyers could use this guy's behavior
as grounds for their appeal?

10. It's so endearingly naive of some of you to be surprised by this guy...

...in a world where William Hung can make a million bones, and * gets reelected in spite of everything, does anything shock or surprise us anymore? And I mean this in the best possible way- not at all a slap.
