Rocket From the Tombs were a Cleveland-area garage band from the early 70s. The 'Tombs served as the spawning ground of a number of pre-punk bands, most notably Pere Ubu and the Dead Boys.

Rocket From the Crypt actually took their name from the 'Tombs, btw....
