Crosby, Stills, & Nash's new greatest hits -- botched? |
|
Here's the song lineup:
1. Suite: Judy Blue Eyes 2. Shadow Captain 3. Helplessly Hoping 4. Long Time Gone 5. Our House 6. Southern Cross 7. Marrakesh Express 8. Guinnevere 9. See the Changes 10. Teach Your Children 11. Wooden Ships 12. Just A Song Before I Go 13. Delta 14. 49 Bye-Byes 15. Wasted on the Way 16. Carry On/Questions 17. In My Dreams 18. Cathedral 19. Daylight Again
Graham Nash co-produced the compilation, and he decided to make it strictly CSN -- no Y. So that leaves out "Helpless", "Ohio", and even "Woodstock", which features Neil Young's guitar solo. There's also a few albums that are not represented.
I,for one, could do without "Delta".
I give it a B+.

1. I think that covers the "hits" pretty well... |
|
I mean if it is CSN and not CSNY, all of those songs pretty much cover it.

2. Not a bad lineup, but I won't buy it simply because I have |
|
the 4 disk boxed set they came out with a while back, and that has all the CSN (and Y) that I need. :).
