Name a musical act with a color in its name!

I thought of Deep Purple, Green River, and the Yellow Magic Orchestra...

Can anybody else think of any?

35. Good answer!
I used to be part of the student concert committee at UMASS Amherst back around 1979/80 or so. Near the end of each Spring semester they'd have an all day outdoor concert of pretty much unknown bands. One of them was Blue Angel and I was impressed with the then unknown singer. I talked with her briefly after the set (the "hey, you were great" kind of stuff).
:smoke:

I found and bought their album a few days later (still have it).

Fast forward about 3 years... I was working for a record chain (college didn't quite work out the way I had expected  ), and Cyndi Laupers debut album came in. The name didn't click at first, but then after listening to it, I realized that I had heard her before.

One almost thing that didn't happen when I was on the concert committee: we could have had U2 perform; they would have been playing at the student union building which was really a big cafeteria during the day. It was voted down because not that many of the people deciding had even heard of them yet. x(
