Keep a good thought for Andy when he goes to the doctor tommorrow......
he's a little nervous, suprise.....and he's hoping this man will agree to be his surgeon. he deserves a good one, and i know you guys move mountains with your vibes, so let's get to it.
if that doesn't work, i'll post the doc's fax number. nahh, i'll PM you with it.

andy is still looking at some very risky surgery, and a couple courses of chemo. so please keep a good thought for him. and if you can help:

https://www.paypal.com /

His Paypal account name is Andy_Stephenson@comcast.net

or:

Andy Stephenson
P.O. Box 25624
Seattle, WA 98165-1124

who don't know and love andy as we do, i'll let will pitt explain:

"If you have followed the push for election reform over the last two years, you have probably heard the name Andy Stephenson. Andy, who worked for a long time with the folks over at BlackBoxVoting.org, has been at the forefront of the fight to make sure that every vote is counted, every vote counts, and that our elections do not become a privatized exercise in electronic touch-screen theft....
snip.......

For the last several weeks, Andy has been suffering through a bout of Hepatitis. The word came down yesterday, however, that his situation is far more serious. "I apparently have a tumor growing around the bile duct where it passes through my pancreas," he wrote. "The tissue sample was consistent with malignancy; it could be benign but I am planning for the worst."

Andy has been out of work for several months; he gave pretty much his entire life to the cause of election reform, which doesn't pay, and is now unemployed, without health insurance and staring down the barrel of major surgery......"

4. Here's to Andy
There are some real miracle-working surgeons out there. My father had a Whipple (a very involved surgery for pancreatic cancer) at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. The GI surgery team there, headed by one Dr. Layton Rikkers, was absolutely fantastic. Here's hoping Andy scores one just as good.

11. Best of luck
and work out a payment plan with the hospital. I'm literally paying as little as $5 a month for my surgery from a year ago. They are willing to work with you.

15. i just got off the phone w/ andy. he's was pretty groggy from the
painkillers they gave him today after his biopsy. results should be in by friday latest.
either way, he will need "the whipple procedure" surgey as soon as his blood sugar stabilizes. he's not too thrilled about being on insulin.
and yes, he got the great surgeon he wanted. really good track record w/ this thing. so that's great. i'll let you all know if andy doesn't beat me to it.
thanks for the thoughts and prayers, y'all.
