1. Me too! And I should be in bed, I need to BE AT work at 3:00 AM... UGH!

But, I was inspired by yer thread to post again... :hi:!

Was it remembering Summerfests of days gone by?

2. Believe it or not, that started it. I was thinking of a time my dad took

just me. I was so excited because I never got to go anywhere with just my dad. He bought me a Summerfest Cowboy hat with a red feather clip on (Daddy didn't know it was a roach clip and I was only 10) and a Summerfest smiley tattoo for my cheek. We bought the 32 oz. lemonades and listened to Earth, Wind and Fire...I remember it so well, I can still feel how his hand felt in mine, how we danced to the music, and how I never wanted that day with my Daddy to end. :)

I should be in bed too. I've got to be up at 4:30 to get MrG up.

I was like 7 and my best friend's mom took us and we saw Cheap Trick. Then in High School, my BF's dad used to sound mix for Kiss and hooked us up backstage at Vinnie Vincent. And countless memories waiting outside the gates ALL FREAKING DAY at the main rock stage to see srtists like Belinda Carlisle with Mr. Mister as the opening act... SOOO many Summerfest memories!!

yeah, i really can't believe the opportunities i've had and have been opened to me. I'm in line to work for a state senator and plan to personally hand Bob Casey Jr. my resume in April. It has been a tremendous four years and I so don't want them to end.
