6. The only thing I can think of is the mood of the people on

the board at the time. I have seen thread that had nothing in the way of replies then an hour later someone basically posts the same thing and they have 50 in no time flat. I guess it just depends on if the people are in the mood to reply.

Then a name helps. Pitt, Bouncy, some others seem to catch people's eye. I think it's the provocative subject field. I had a couple that were 100 plus quickly and the subjects were "I'm tired of the Red-Blue Bull Shit" and "Hey KOS is Giving DU Shit" or something like that. People jumped right on it. I've actually put up a couple of well conceived and intelligent threads. Two three users...haha.
