something made me smile this morning
I took the dogs out a few moments ago to do their business. Snow is melting from the garden and flower beds...

As I looked around I saw a some "green" popping through the leaves and winter debris...

WE GOT BULBS COMING UP!!! AND A HOLLY HOCK IS SPROUTING SOME LEAVES!!! It put a smile on my face...

Dare I hope that spring will really arrive???

3. love your 'toon
reminds me of an old cat we use to have...

he loved to sit on newspaper... one day he was sitting on a small scrap about 4"x4"... sooo just to see how small of a piece of newspaper he would sit on I cut the scrap in half

he sat on it

cut it in half again

he sat on it

finally the "scrap" was down to about 1/8" -- he sniffed it and then sat on it

5. thanks
my cat loved to sit or crouch under a map when unfolded. Of course when you tried to look for a place you want to go and put your finger on the map you sure had a cat pawing at your finger.

2. Here in Texas
my wife's tulips and other bulbs are in full bloom and her different varieties of bluebonnets are coming up. I'll post pics when everything is in bloom.

In Texas there is a great wildflower seed store in the Fredericksburg. Take a look... Wildseed Farms.

4. I'm in NE Pennsylvania just outside of Wilkes-Barre
last week on Wed-Thurs we had 10 inches of snow...

so you can see why a little bit of green peeping out would make me smile...
