For my 1000th post : Thank you DU

The years since selection 2000 have been really hard for me.

I want to thank everyone here at DU for all you have given to me(even though you didn't know it)

Your humor has raised my spirits and made me laugh even on the darkest days. Your comments, editorials, and rants have given me hope for the future of this country.

I have laughed with you. I have cried with you. I have shared your anger and passion.

You are all too numerous to name. So I thank you all.

what were you doing all the time? Or maybe the question should be What am I doing the whole time? :)

3. I read DU several hours a day but I am slow to post

I go months just reading and not posting.
I silently nod my head and agree with what I read. Only in the last few months have I made a real hard push to post more articles and comments.
edit: need to use spell check more often

even when it's at its worst... and even if you have to click ignore thread a hundred times, you can ALWAYS find something that enlightens, inspires or humors you on this site. For that, I'm very grateful.

I spend a lot of time here just reading threads, and 1k posts seems so far away. Congrats on the milestone.

Honestly given how dismal this world is, it really scares me to think what life would be like without DU. The direction our nation is going in, the propaganda, the lack of outrage, etc. If not for the people here, I'd lose my mind.
