Who gives a shit about Andy Rooney? Who comes up with these emails anyway?

I sometimes find it interesting to debate (more like argue) with my relatives with different views. I just don't take it too seriously - I have as much chance of changing their minds as they have of changing mine.

3. Make sure when you debunk these things you hit "REPLY ALL"

That was the only way I could get one family member to stop sending that crap was to hit reply all on that crap email about the 50 people that Clinton had killed. She was furious and asked why I couldn't have just replied it to just her since I sent that reply to all her friends & co-workers. I explained that if she is emailing out lies that I would reply the truth to all of them and she could use BCC on her emails and I would still email them to everyone on the original list since I still had the first email.

Suddenly - I get no more junk mail from her

I don't think my wingnut aunt knows what bcc is for but it's too late now. I have her email list. Bring on the wing nut emails! :-)

because your aunt will discover BCC now and think she has one up on you by still sending you that crap but not showing anyone's email address.

Then you can just forward your corrections to the orginal group she sent to. Nothing pisses wingnuts off more than to see their crap being debunked to all their wingnut friends

9. I did the same to an aunt

but it was an email telling us to support Wal-Mart because it was refusing to carry the morning after pill. This was about 5 or so years ago. I replied to all and first went on about the point of actual conception is debateable and then I went on the numerous examples of how Wal Mart should not be supported because of a multitude of other reasons which I listed. Never got an email since! And actually I got a few "You go girl!" and "thank you"s from other female relatives that felt the same way I did.
