Obscene tattoo forced on teen
NORWICH, New York -- A man and a teenager have been charged with forcibly tattooing an obscenity on the forehead of a 17-year-old boy, police said yesterday. Officer Craig Berry declined to describe the tattoo, except to say it was a phrase.

"It's just ludicrous that someone would do something like this to another person," Berry said.

Kenneth Peer, 23, and a 17-year-old boy were charged with assault and unlawful imprisonment. Police were withholding the name of the 17-year-old, who was charged as a youthful offender, Berry said. The two were in jail in lieu of a $25,000 US bail. A court hearing was scheduled for tomorrow.

no luck yet. My internets are slow.

It apparently was a phrase
(from http://www.thedailystar.com/news/stories/2005/03/29/tat2.html )
"He told police the two then used a homemade tattooing instrument to ink him on the forehead with a vulgar phrase. "

on edit: it was not released by authorities

4. But I'm not sure which is more disgusting...
...the act of tattooing obscenities on someone's forehead or the fact that some dumbass kid wanted a tattoo on his forehead.

I'm all for inking the body but personally the forehead just creeps me out a bit.

5. The first is wrong, the second is dumb!
Both are pretty disgusting as far as my taste goes. The act of marking someone is pretty low. Getting a tattoo on your head by choice seems stupid to me.

8. What I wonder
in addition to what the phrase was - did they tattoo it backwards so he could read it in the mirror or frontwards so other people could read it. Damn media! They never answer the real questions!

9. Wow...what gets into some people?...
...anyone remember when, when AIDS first came on the scene in a big way back in the 80s, William F. Buckley was going around saying people with AIDS should be tattoed on their foreheads and their buttocks (transparent gay baiting on his part) to identify them?

Decent people get taken away before their time every day, but someone like Buckley gets to live to be an old man. :evilfrown:

poor guy - and he was held down by the other two while they did it.

They are in jail on $25,000 bond. Glad to see the cops are treating this very seriously.
