My PC has crapped out

It appears to be a dead motherboard. This sucks - replacing parts was just not in the budget this month since I'm buying new tires for the car and a window air conditioner. Argh. A motherboard is cheap online, but all the ones available locally aren't.

I was planning on switching to a silent, fanless Via mini-itx system in the fall, which now I won't do since that's too much $ to throw down the PC rat hole. Oh well.

2. Look at Chaintech motherboards.

Solid units. Good prices. Slap an Athlon in there, at present prices and you are good to go for not much.
