Anyone else sick of the Schiavopallooza? |
|
Even NPR is reporting the shit out of this story. I'm so sick of it I could scream!

2. I've done BEEN sick of Schiavo-pallooza. |
|
No offense to her, that poor woman, but I've been burned out on it for a few days now.
Now I'm also getting sick of religiopallooza, too.

4. You don't enjoy the countdown? |
|
It makes me sick watching the countdown on TV every day. "Day #12 without food or water." The woman gets closer and closer to death. I mean, even if she is a vegetable, it's still wrong it seems.
Just quietly let the situation drop I say.

for however many days. Why don't they report "year 15 without a functioning cerebral cortex?"

8. Expect more gruesome details |
|
In the days to come, I'm sure all of the cable news networks will "treat" us to graphic descriptions of how her liver is shutting down and everything else. We'll get a blow by blow account of how her body is giving way.
Even if she isn't feeling the pain, I still think that aspect is perhaps the most disturbing part of the media frenzy in my opinion.

The RW is taking a big hit on this story. The vast majority of people polled on this story feel it is a private family matter and the govt has no right to be involved. The protesters are freaks - one of them is even a sexual predator!
I am debating a freeper on another board who even said he didn't care that this sexual predator was wanted - he has every right to protest! Even the other freepers on that board are jumping on him for saying that.
So bring it on. I can more than tolerate a story that makes repukes and fundies look bad. And watching them argue over this case is a rare treat.

As much as I hate the nature of the story, it poses a moral dillema to me. I must admit that I REALLY enjoy watching *'s approval ratings fall to their lowest level ever.
What a bad situation for Gov. Bush down in Florida too. He's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.

I feel like this has fallen into our laps. We NEED TO expose the RW hypocrisy on this issue. We wouldn't be good Democrats if we ignored that aspect of it.

Franken just wasted damn near a half an hour splitting some hairs over how the *eys could have manipulated a stay to counter the court rulings. Okay so that's kind of curious but going over and over that fine point was a total flopping waste when there is so much going on. Fortunately had tunes on simultaneously.
It's all a frigging smoke screen is just to obfuscate the war crimes we're currently committing in Ramadi, what went on in Paonia Colorado last week, and the completely hypocritical and foul deal we just made with Pakistan.
It's just appauling and pathetic.
Ughhhhhhh.

9. I was sick of it years ago................... |
|
how do you think I feel about it now? The entire country has gone over the edge. We have a MSM that is nothing more than entertainment now, the internet is the only real place to find real NEWS. I'm sick to death of it. I'm beginning to wish someone would remove MY tube (television, that is). Yeah, I guess you could say I've had enough. :hide:

13. At this time I think the repukes would rather talk about anything |
|
but their Big Fumble on Social Security...... These dumb bastards are desperate to "change the subject"..... Unfortunately for their leadership, the repuke rank & file just aren't buying into this painfully transparent freak show.... Rove must wince every time he happens to see that 24/7, worn out, pathetic, head shot footage of their latest helpless victim. Orange Alert, anybody?
