How do you get the picture to save as an image?

how do we use a screen shot?

Then open some image editing program like Paint or Photoshop. Use Paste to insert the screenshot and crop as needed.

Save as a JPG. After that, you have to store the image on a website somewhere, so you can just reference it in the DU message using the URL.

30. To save your picture (on IBM/Windows)

Hit the PrintScreen/SysRq button, usually next to your F12 key.

Open a paint program of some kind (Paint, MS PhotoEditor, MS PhotoDraw, etc.)

Select Paste from the drop-down Edit menu. If it asks you if you want the bitmap enlarged, say "Yes."

Now you can crop down the screen capture and save only the portion you want.

should do the trick. it'll save a pdf to your desktop. then use...i'd say either preview, or photoshop if you've got it. photoshop took approximately 10 seconds to crop it.
