1. I almost picked that up today. |
|
But I'm broke for the moment. I'm eager to get it though. I'm a huge Beck fan. You like it, ay?

Sounds a lot like "Odelay", but not really. The title song- "Que' Onda Guero" kicks ass.

3. I heard one song on the radio |

and thought it sounded like Odelay too. I read it has the same producer or he worked with the same band or something. I want it!

did you get the two disc with the DVD thing? I couldn't figure out if that had the regular CD in with it too or if it was just a DVD set.

Yes, it is looking like a good musical year. I haven't heard anything about the Springsteen album. I hope he has some political songs on it and that its better than the last one.
Garbage is finally coming out with a new one too! All the cool 90's bands are coming back. Maybe the suckfest that this decade has been musically is coming to an end. Although, some of the new punk is good too, but that's about all this decade has to offer so far.

8. You didn't like "The Rising"? |
|
And IIRC, "Dust and Devils" (the new Springsteen album) is indeed political.

I'm in the dark on that one. No, I wasn't a big fan of the rising. Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of his, but he has some stuff I like alot. The Ghost of Tom Joad is my favorite Bruce album. I think the E Street Band would have been better had they not had that 80's sound and if they dropped the synthesizer keyboards.

Bruce is border-line south Jersey...so of course he's gonna hate the Bergen county ho's like me ;) Trust me, I normally HATE the 80's with a PASSION- but Bruce gets a pass because he's...well, he's Bruce.
