I had no idea TV was so fantastic! |

Edited on Wed Mar-30-05 09:07 PM by Bouncy Ball
My family and I decided to watch TV together this evening. Normally our TV viewing consists of Mr. Bouncy watching the History Channel/Science channel/SciFi channel on the weekends.
That's pretty much it. I try to remember to watch The Daily Show but most of the time I forget.
So this was a different thing for us. Little Bouncy said "let's watch 'Ripley's Believe it or Not!'"
We got to see a guy have his face surgically fixed with nuts and bolts from the hardware store!
We saw a guy catch, with his hands, paintballs shot from a paintball gun and he didn't break them!
Another guy opened beer bottles with his navel until he was bleeding!
Then we got treated to the "World's Most Revealing Showgirl Costume" in Las Vegas! She was wearing pasties and some feathers! YAY!
I feel dumber!

1. Did you ever see the guy who ate the Sesna airplane? |
|
His teeth were down to nubs, but he ate light bulbs, mirrors, plates, and the piece de resistance was a Sesna airplane, which took him a couple of months, but he did it. I wonder how long it would take for him to eat the 747.

When I told Mr. Bouncy that I feel dumber for having watched that, he said "Yep and all three of us were sitting here eating it up, too."

6. I think MrBouncy and MrGrumpy were separated at birth. That |
|
constitutes MrG's viewing schedule as well. Except he also watches "The Waltons" reruns and CSI. :hi:

My kid knows SO much more about life and stuff because of TV. It's great, isn't it? :D
She did watch, with Mr. Bouncy, some show on TLC or something a while back about transgendered people who get surgery. He said it was really educational. She told me later she feels bad for people trapped in the wrong body.
I didn't even know what homosexuality was until the eighth grade.
