There's a guy on the Fidonet who claims he's "taking DU'ers to task."

This is from a guy in California named Tim Richardson, a far-right liar and dipwit who calls DU "DemUnder," and posted this whine about DU:


This message is just for `you', but I send it to you in this open forum
because I want others to know what lowlife scuz balls you and your whacko
liberal friends over in DemUnder really are.


In one of the forums there, a bunch are bragging about going to a Free
Republic site on the Web, and voting in one or more of the polls they are
conducting there.


It seems that a large number of them voted multiple times, and when that was
blocked so that only one person-one vote would work, they went to the trouble
of seeking out BBS's they had not previously been members of, signing up as
users under false names, going to the Free Republic site on the web and voting
yet again.


The intent is to skew the poll results in such a way as to make it show
something other than an accurate result.


The standing joke among your friends seems to be `vote early and vote often'.


You should tell your friends that I went to the sites they were so free about
furnishing the web addresses for (so all the *early\often* voters could vote
yet again), and left messages to their administrators, explaining what you
people were doing.


At the same time, I furnished them with the WebSite address, forum names, and
user `handles' of those who were the most vocal braggarts as to what they had
done.
