Just got home - please allow me one Terri Schiavo post |
|
I'm very glad that she has passed on and is in a better place (this is my belief; feel free to share it, or not). I submit this argument in response to those religious wackos who claim she was "murdered": Could an argument not be made that she committed suicide? After all, it was her bulimia that caused her cardiac arrest, which in turn led to her persistent vegetative state. Of course, these idjits' brains are incapable of twisting that far and taking that in, so this is a meaningless question.
Thank you very much. That is all.

1. How could it be murder when she didn't feed herself? |
|
If I don't eat and starve to death, would you call it murder? She didn't die through action. She died because of inaction. That can't be murder.

2. It would be murder if they gave her morphine or strangled her |

The act of withdrawing medical treatment is passive and thus not murder. This people are so completely stupid it's mind-blowing (but we knew that already).
