5. You made me think of another.
That Sugar Body Scrub stuff. That has shea butter in it. It exfoliates in the shower, but the shea butter makes your skin SO damn soft when you towel off. Wow. It's amazing.

I have no beauty secrets. I'm sitting here racking my brain. Um.....a good pair of tweezers?

Cough it up for a good pedicure every now and then so you won't have donkey hooves?

Oh! I know! If you have coarse, curly, thick hair just spend the damn money on a REALLY good cut and style every six weeks. I used to be chinchey about it and go to Supercuts and the like and it just looked like shit. Then I found a hairstylist with magic hands and GLADLY pay the money every six weeks for a cut, color and highlights (highlights only every third visit). Professional color, professional cut. WAAAAY worth it, imo. I have total strangers ask me where I get my hair cut, compliment the hairstyle, color, etc.

6. If you have curly hair: Bed Head Small Talk is great...
a few squirts, some scrunches, and a blow dry with a diffuser. Makes the hair look great and soft. Oh, and don't forget Pantene Hydrating Curls. I use the 2 in 1 and it does perfectly.

14. I have naturally curly hair but I wear it straight.
So I use Frizz-Ease and gel on wet hair then blow dry straight. Then I add a bit of pomade for moisture (dry hair). If needed, I use a straightening iron, too.

7. Sun block. Sun block. Sun block. At least a 35 strength.
The sun does all sorts of horrid things to the skin, from wrinkles to splotches.

I also like face creams with glycolic acid in them.

Third: exercise gets the circulation going and gets oxygen to the skin.

Fourth: A breast lift! Wow! Was that an improvement! (not an augmentation; just the lift)

Next: Blepharoplasty (eye job). Anyone had that done?

13. Yes, yes, sun screen. That is the most important
beauty secret. My moisturizer and my makeup both have a sunscreen of 15 to 30 SPF. I learned that from living in South Florida most of my life. I had friends and even my own mother who developed skin cancer from the sun.

15. I'd like a reduction AND a lift.
Wow, that would be nice.

And on the sun screen, YES. Moisturizer with sunscreen, foundation with sunscreen and stay the HELL out of the sun.

And a lot of women forget sunscreen on the backs of their hands, all year round. I never forget. I want to put off blotchy hands as long as possible. I may be pale now, but I won't look like a piece of old shoe leather in my 50s and beyond!

21. Righto. I just started w/sunscreen on backs of my hands a couple of
years ago. I'm middle aged, so I wish I'd started that years ago. It just never occurred to me, and I never read it recommended anywhere! Better late than never.

9. Denial
and a carefully nurtured delusion or two

I do the whole bit: exfoliate,toner,moisturizer...with all kinds of little stuff in between. (eye cream & various mask, periodic professional facials, etc.)

Mostly Clinique..some Neutragena products.

11. Here's a few from a real junkie
don't even ask how many lipsticks I own. I'm in Imelda Marcos territory.
I love my little corner eyelash curler...it's got a very narrow clamp to curl just the lashes you want. I use it on the outermost lashes for my cheapo version of an eyelift.
Hard as Hoof nail cream (the evil Wal-Mart carries it...so does Ulta) really works to keep nails strong. And it smells good. On my vacation two weeks ago (scuba diving) I used Coppertone's waterproof "sport" dry spray sunscreen. Very easy to use and I didn't get burnt. And if you're pale like me, (natural redhead...with some help from Clairol these days), Jergen's new body lotion with self-tanner works great. It's subtle, not orangey, doesn't streak, smells good, and dries quickly.

and baby oil is relatively cheap, too.

Thanks!
