Poll question: Best Giant Bug Movie
Who doesn't love a good giant bug movie?

I'll go with "Them " as the best of all time. The effects are quite good for a movie made over 50 years ago.

Note to fans of "The Fly"... In this poll, size matters. That's why I didn't include it.

4. How 'bout Arachnophobia?
I guess those weren't giant, though. I voted for Mimic. Not as much of a classic as some of those 50s films, but infinitely better put together.

10. Beginning of the End
I vote for this one for purely sentimental reasons. It supposedly takes place in central Illinois, where I live. I've been to most of the places named in the movie, and lived for years in Urbana, where the State Police headquarters are in the movie.Plus, it's the best movie ever made about giant radioactive grasshoppers.
