You have got to love this crap. Terri Schiavo's death is getting more press here in America than the dying Pope! THE POPE PEOPLE! You know the guy that is the leader of one of the largest churches in the world?

My gosh this is just insane. If he does die, who wants to bet they freaking do a split screen of his funeral and Shiavo's?

8. We're at war In Iraq?
Bush says its all settled. There certainly could have been no deaths or he would have spoken about it to honor them as he did to Terri.

3. Not tonight. MSNBC is interviewing Drs in Italy live now.
I admit, earlier this evening all of them were Schiavo all the time, and I don't know about the other chanels, but MSNBC is covering the Vatican live and it's 1:40 AM EST.

6. So true.

Terri needs to rest in peace.

Hopefully, she successfully transitioned to a place where she is whole and has achieved total enlightenment.

May she will reincarnate as a judge one day.

Now that Michael will not permit them to attend her service, or have her ashes, if I were the Schindlers, I'd have taken a lock of her hair or something, and have my own service.

I think that he is a bit heartless.

May all concerned heal, however.

On edit:
God bless the Pope with health. And it is so! Amen.

9. The Pope talks about suffering of the elderly
Edited on Fri Apr-01-05 01:54 AM by Erika
and how it makes them more Godly. How about the deaths of young innocents worldwide? How about soldiers sent to fight a war for no reason other than profits for the rich? But they fought only so they could afford education benefits? Are their lives so less worthy than the Pope's?

10. To a lot of people, yes.
Most Catholics view the pope as a larger than life type figure. This is no different than say when Reagan, Kennedy or FDR died. While in the end they're just average citizens, they're also average citizens with great influence. That influence commands a lot of attention.
