it's Friday afternoon

why do have customers showing up almost ONLY Friday afternoon. The library has open 5 days/week, morning and afternoon. And the most people are picking Friday afternoon to give me work to do. WHY????? Why can't they come, say Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday? And preferable they are coming when I am alone (which isn't the case today fortunately).

normally such many people in our library (4 people and we are a very small library) are only happening when I am alone ... of course then they want thousnads of books from the stock :banghead: ... and the stock is in the basement

We seem to have become a world of ~hurry up and wait.:rant:

People put things off until the last second and then go *pedal to the metal RUSH*...*gotta have it yesterday* acting rude in the process!

to come here, when they get off earlier. Maybe that is the resaon.

There is a saying in German "Was du heute kannst besorgen, verschiebe nicht auf morgen" (What you can accomplish today, don't move to tomorrow). Not that I am following it always :)

My own ranting thoughts were more about the folks out there on the road who drive foolishly. The tailgaters - who seem to be in such a big rush.

I hope they get their research done soon so that you can have a relaxing afternoon :) Don't a lot of people have Friday or at least Friday afternoon off in Germany? (Damn you all and your 35 hour work weeks, and 6 weeks of vacation! :D)
