Have you been deaf since birth? I have a cousin who's deaf, she's great. Always goofing on me. She can hear VERY little, had a few operations, but to no avail. She's cool with it.

I went blind in my left eye from MS. My right eye is still fine, though. I have peripheral vision in my left eye, but nothing in the center 70% of the field of vision. So, for you left ear. For me, left eye.

For some odd reason, the license restriction says i can't drive a vehicle without two sideview mirrors. Since everything i've driven since 1978 has had two sideview mirrors, it's not really much of a restriction. But, whatever.

It's possible. Not sure if i've paid enough attention. Since i still see fine out of one eye, and the brain adjusts rather a lot to seeing the world through one eye, (excepting close depth perception), it doesn't really result in much disability. So, maybe my brain hasn't found the need to sharpen up anything else.

I've always had a pretty refined sniffer (punny, punny), so maybe that's why i didn't notice. I always smelled the spices in food, for instance, that many others didn't.

Or did you just skim and pick the most offensive ones? I wont say that everyone here is polite and supports rights for the disabled but the majority do. Just because most people here do not want the government deciding what to do in the case of this very tragic family drama, does not mean we don't support disabled people.

What I have read here is that the majority of people just wished the media and the government would stay out of this whole thing. It's no one's business and nothing more than a drama of parents against son-in-law over a brain dead girl used for repuke political gain.
