Coeds aren't really coeds, right?
i mean, they ARE, technically, but it's not like females at a college are unusual...

also, how come "coeds" are always girls? i mean, aren't we guys "coeds" with the girls too?

1. It's always struck me as wierd too
I first came across it in the West Wing and spent a little while wondering what on earth they were talking about.

Over here only a school itself would be called co-educational.

My university had more female undergraduates than male ones, so it would me more logical in that case to call we chaps the co-eds.

in my major (psychology) guys are DEFINATELY in the minority...not that i'm complaining ;)
