The people who need these warnings are those who don't pay attention to ALL current information. It never ceases to amaize me when I hear about some sr giving all their savings to a financial advisor they never met, and know nothing about, or give somebody $50,000 to "collect their $1,000,000 winnings" in some contest scam.
This info does need to get out, but I suspect those on DU already know better.
