My day at the store:

Went into the car park, saw a few cars with Kerry stickers on them. Seemed a nice start.

Bought my goodies.

At the cashier's, he'd asked if I knew about a little place called Costco. I said I wish they had one here and, for the time he had left, he told me of how much better Costco was than where he's at.

So, where did I go today?

Sam's club.

So here's my Q: Are there petitions I could sign to get a Costco (or two) in my state?

I am in Minnesota and we have Costco here. I might be willing to give you one if you do the petition. ;)

2. WHAT?! WHERE?!! I hope not Minneapolis...

I live in Minnesota! But a distance from Minneapolis.

Once I get better I might start going there, depending on distance...

3. There is one right in St. Louis Park!

There are three right in the metro area! Also, one in Eden Prairie and Coon Rapids. It's WAY better than going to the devil of a Sam's Club. :)
