How do you get pictures posted in a message. I know how to link, but that's it. Also, I don't have photoshop and can only save pictures as a bitmap on my computer.

Help me. I'm pathetic and will be forever in your debt.

1. Right click on the image to save from the original web source.

to a folder on your PC. Then, open a free account on www.photobucket.com, upload the photo to that site, and use their link to paste the image in your post here.

2. The picture has to first exist on the web

After that, just put the URL inline, like so (but without the spaces):

There are a few sites that won't allow photos to link, and a few image types that won't work, but for the most part, get it up on the web, then just enter the URL for it.

How do I post an image?

There is no special code to post images. All you have to do is type the URL of the image, like so:

If you are using Internet Explorer on a Windows computer, you can find the URL of an image by right-clicking on that image, and then selecting "Properties." Look for where it says "Address (URL)."

To post a link to an image without having the image embedded directly in your message, just add a question mark at the end and type a few letters, like so: ?click

If you want to find a picture, I use Google images search.

When I see an image I like I click on it. Then click on the link that says

See full-size image.

This will bring up the image all by itself.

I then cut and paste the address in my browser address bar into my DU post.
