I like cats. I am just making an observation.

Well, of course this place is lousy with cat lovers. Atrios' blog is also obsessed with cats. I think they are an animal that only the left can tolerate, independent, quirky, evil. The righties are more obedience school sorts of folks. If I were a cat OR dog, I'd prefer to be part of a DUer's family over any moderate or right wing Republican.

We do :loveya: our feline buddies..I have had many doggies in my day, but at this stage of my life, I like the independence of kitties..Dogs require more attention than I am prepared to give these days:)

Liberals are openminded enough to accept the fact that for some cats, no matter how much you love them and care for them, their acceptance of YOU is truly up to them :) I think our freeper pals MUST HAVE the slavish devotion that is "dog-like". We are a more open minded bunch:)
