I've come back to DU after 6 months self-imposed exile. Ask me anything!

I used to post here all the time... so much so that my girlfriend would get upset with me every now and then when I paid more attention to her than I did to DU. The buildup to the election had me posting constantly (that's the period where I accumulated most of my posts).

Well, then the election happened, and Bush won. Yeah, we could argue about whether or not he REALLY won or not, but he's the guy in the White House right now. Oy. That drove me away from politics for quite some time. Although I'd be lying if I said that the release of World of Warcraft had nothing to do with the change in my online habits. At least my girlfriend couldn't complain about that, since she plays almost as much as I do, work permitting.

So how'd I come back? The same way I came the first time - Top Ten Conservative Idiots. Last night I wasn't feeling to well, so I was up late (kind of like tonight, actually), so I continued reading, popped over to the main page, got reading some threads, and next thing I know, I was browsing through all the boards just like I used to. So here I am, the next night, jumping right back in.

So, how's everybody else doing?

I just recently took a couple of weeks off. I may do what you did at some point down the road. This place can really drive you nuts.
