An apology to all DUers

Some time ago I said I wouldn't vote Dem again.

Well, I flipped channels and heard the Dem senator from Nevada (?) talk. MANY points slamming *, social security, the lot - especially after *'s comments today about questioning the system and a high level bond. (this was about 5:30PM when I tuned in) The one who followed, also a Dem, also had pressed home more about our slopartist-in-chief.

Damn straight I will vote Dem again, and I apologize for my outburst.

I beg forgiveness, especially if you had put me on ignore because of my tirade.

10. Under 2 weeks ago... Newsweek mag article and the aftermath of

the bulk of both parties signing for the atrocious bankruptcy "reform" bill.

But there are signs our country still is a 2 party system. Fortunately!

I was very disappointed too, but I still think the only way out of this weakness on the part of the party is to have their back through thick and thin though. We gotta get as strong as the Republicans, get an echo chamber going like they have, get lots of people informed on our issues with our own talking points. I think we'll get there, especially since they keep shooting themselves in the foot, but it might be a slog we'll have to tough out. The further-right in their party slogged through a pretty moderate Nixon and Ford who had pretty centrist ideas compared to the Republicans now, stuck with it, and is now enjoying success; I think we'll do that too, and learn a lot along the way.

I can understand your frustration with Dems lately. Some of them are starting to grow a backbone again, I have some hope!
