Any Project Greenlight fans?? |

I swear...this show is like a bad car wreck. After last season and the two nimrods they had for directors, I told myself I was done with this show. But, just when I thought I was out...they pulled me back in.
So I'm watching the re-run of the episode where the script and director is selected. They choose a script that only a few people liked and that Wes Craven even said would be hard to make. Then, they choose a guy to direct that gave the worst presentation to the group!
I'm sure this guy John is a nice guy, but so far he has shown that he is passive-aggressive, does not play well with others, has trouble expressing himself, and want to cast only his family members in the film. WTF??

1. if you see the second episode |

It gets worse with the director. He only wants his family. I missed the 3rd episode, I really feel bad for Matt & Ben. They want this to be a launchig pad for other talented writers/directors. But if this is the way hollywood really works, no wonder there isn't a decent movie to watch anymore.
(I would really like to see the script that Matt was pushing for in the first episode)

3. I read in the paper that one of the script's was picked up by Ben |

Afleck's production company. For some reason I think it is the "time travel" one that the kid from Ohio wrote.

2. That director is such a tool |
|
He'll never make it in the business. He's far too intractable and has no communication skills whatsoever.
I'm convinced they selected him soley because it would make good television, which occasionally it does.
