Who brought their screaming kid to work |
|
:grr:
You know, they even provide emergency daycare at our business and yet for the last 30 minutes I've been listening to some baby screaming his lungs out. I can appreciate someone wanting to show off their children to co-workers, but the minute a child starts screaming, please show some respect and remove the child from the area. The rest of us do not appreciate the noise!

1. At my hotel room this past weekend, |
|
in the room next door, they had newborn twins and a three year old. The mom was apparently attending the same conference I was and left her husband in the room with the kid and babies. I was there in the afternoon, waiting for the next session and thought I'd read the New York Times, maybe take a short nap.
No freaking way that was happening. BOTH newborn twins cried and cried and cried. Then the three year old started crying. He got one of the twin babies to stop but the other one went on for TWENTY minutes.
I kept wondering if I should go next door and ask if he needed or wanted help, but I wasn't sure how that would be received.
So I turned on my TV (not what I wanted to do, I wanted quiet) to drown them out.
My long-winded way of saying I feel ya. It's nerve-wracking.
