43. Actually, right now I'm listening to exactly what GOPisEvil is listening
to

If they played the Beasties earlier, this station reminds me a LOT of Radio Free Hawaii - my first day stationed there I was getting driven around getting all the paperwork done. On the radio I heard Seasons in the Abyss by Slayer followed up with Mozart, and couldn't believe it.

62. Yeah, I can relate with that long drive thinking about things thing
*deflects grammar nazis with :smoke: card*

Sometimes I miss having a commute because the monotonic pattern of driving in commuter traffic gives you some time to think. Assuming it isn't city driving, which explains the ratio of city buses and subways to rural buses and subways.

Then I snap back to my senses and realize this is probably the best I'll ever have it commuting-wise

63. I have had a commute of a mile or less for the last 5 years.
Except for the time between when I bought my house and my office moved to a new building right in my neighborhood.

Back when I had a commute, though, I used that time to really do some good thinking. I have a weekly trip to my folks' house though. That's when I get some good thinking in.

With gas as expensive as it is, I can't just take off and drive like I used to. :eyes:
