Okay...I found myself applauding Bill Maher tonight...

New Rules: "Prescriptures" - he took on the Pharmacists "of conscience" who don't/won't fill Birth Control prescriptions.

He had me at line one — and while I think he went a bit over the top at calling pharmacists 'transferred over from the one-hour film developing counter', the rest of the bit was dead-on!

4. The pharmacist bit was good, but I really enjoyed Ariana Huffington

pounding away and giving Maher an earful about Iraq. Maher's such a dumb hypocritical moran on Iraq. The end justifies the means, my ass! And guess what, Bill, the "end" as you describe it hasn't happened and never will. Spreading democracy in the middle east, my ass! Bill, when it comes to Iraq you need a frontal lobotomy.

Meanwhile I'll partake of the bottle in front of me. :)

It was a really great show, but I wish Maher would shut the hell up about how well "democracy" is doing in iraq. When he says he knows this because he "reads it in the papers," I want to punch his head off.

I dropped HBO when our cable went up big-time a few months ago.. :( I sure miss him. Seems like the only time I see him now is on Larry King..

Which makes me wonder.. Larry King always says that Maher is his "favorite" guest. I wonder if that's really the case? :-)
