I just put my parrot in the pantry and he's making, "Look, I found a place for you to lay eggs" noises. :D My Senegal is copying his noises...birds are weird.

He has a crop full of chili and still doesn't like my new hair color. It's time for night-night.

I just love the sounds Gabby makes, though. He's so predictable. Any dark space will set him off.

12. Gideon likes to try to coax me under his cage |
|
He gets under there and coos and says, "Hiiiii" and generally tries to get me to go nest.

13. Does he have certain times of the year when he's more... |
|
...amorous? As I recall, my fellow aviculturists' umbrella cockatoos would go to nest nearly any time of the year. Amazons like spring and according to Gabby, spring has been here since February. :)
