Great read.
Funny how your opinion of something can change once it happens to you.

6. It's always hard to tell with Craig's List. |

Not sure what would motivate someone to lie about such a thing.

8. This is why I have doubts |

I tend to thing that someone who truly went through that experience would feel far more conflicted about it. If she truly believed abortion was murder, it would not be an easy transformation to undergo. I see no ambivalence or internal conflict expressed in that post. Of course it is possible that she was anti-abortion without any real moral conviction. She had been raised around Republicans and reflexively accepted that view. In that case, she had to undergo no soul searching to change her position on the issue. So that is possible.
I also wonder what that bit about the poor being lazy has to do with the choice issue. There are many Republican pro-choice voters. So one can support abortion rights and still hold the party line on other social and spending issues. The post doesn't ring true for me.
As for why someone might make it up? Again, only more speculation, but it could be some teenage pro-choice girl who posted it in an effort to try to convince people to think differently about the issue. Who knows though.
