I'm so very excited! This would be a great opportunity for me. It would be one night a week on one of the most popular stations in town. I know most of the DJs and they are all cool as hell! I'm really excited, but I'm a little nervous too. I don't even have a 'radio' name yet. :D Wish me luck!!!

1. Too cool!!! I did radio for a few years.

Think wild thoughts before you sleep, and drink lemon water or lemon tea in the morning (it 'crispifies' your voice). Remember that UNIQUE is the key!!!

7. Pure cranberry also works well - if you have a tendancy to

get a 'sticky mouth'. None of the lemon/cranberry will matter if you 'HAVE IT' personality-wise. Good Luck, and GO TO SLEEP !!!

Its hard to imagine the river getting better. The fact that they had local DJ's who played a lot of different styles of good music that you rarely hear on the radio is what I loved about it. I've never found another station that plays Ryan Adams, Lucinda Williams and the White Stripes. Syndicated big corporate radio stations don't do that too well.

They still play a big mixture of things (especially not all main stream artists). Another good local station here is 93.1 the Point.

Yeah, when you have some free time, I'd suggest going through all the e-mails one day -- from bottom to top (the order they went online). There's always a bunch of inside jokes and easter eggs in many of the e-mails.
