Congratulations, Charles and Camilla

I don't care what y'all say, she looks lovely, and they deserve to be married to whomever they want.

And who woulda thought the royal genes had THIS hiding somewhere within? This is Zara Philips, daughter of Princess Anne:

1. You're right. Good for them.
I don't have the time or mental energy to live everyone's life for them. If they're happy, that's good with me.

And, um, hey Zara, are you free this evening? Hubba!

4. I couldn't agree more....and Charles is obviously a loving father....just
observe him with his sons....They have an obviously close and loving relationship....Camilla is an attractive woman in her 50s....I remember seeing her in her twenties and I thought she was quite pretty....

2. The marriage between Charles and Diana should never happened.
I'm not one of those people who adored Diana. She was just as complicit in the marriage breakup as Charles was.

It is plainly obvious that Charles has always loved Camilla....and he should have married HER from the beginning.

Overall, I wish Charles and Camilla happiness. It appears that they're very much in love.

3. Both Princess Margaret and Elizabeth were quite lovely young women.
It doesn't surprise me that their offspring are good-looking.

10. The Queen was drop dead gorgeous
As was the Queen Mother.

Not forgetting Prince Philip, I have a postcard of their wedding photo - he makes me go weak at the knees.

5. They seem truly in love....a mature, for real kinda love. It's
pretty romantic. I like that they are about the same age. Still....the wedding saddened me because it made me think of poor Diana, who thought Charles had really loved her, when it seems he married her mainly to have heirs.

As for Zara Philips, I think she looks like a drag queen. Seriously. She looks male to me. And that awful dress.

6. Well, to the extent they matter, congrats too. Everyone should be happy.

Well Dookus, are you prepared for the conclave?

How do you feel about the number of votes you've lined up? I don't want to be smug, but I've had people suggesting that I get baptized as a catholic... I see a Holy See in my future.

7. It'll never work
I was baptized almost 44 years ago. They won't pick a newbie.

To be honest, I don't know where I stand. The cardinals are frustratingly secretive, plus my latin is rusty, so I can't tell if they're saying "Yes, Dookus, you have my support" or "Yes, Dookus, the Swiss Guard have been called and you'd best leave now."

But I'm hopeful. Being Pope is all about hope.

8. Yeah I agree . I liked what she wore to the blessing .

9. It was lovely
but a little disappointed in the coverage and too much Diana flashbacking. I would have liked more people in attendance ID'd rather than all the royal gossip.

Camilla's dress for the Blessing was very stunning, she looked fabulous! And, I've never seen Chuck so happy and relaxed, obviously he's in love this time :)

11. It's about bloody time
with all the shit they've had to go through to get married, you'dve thought they were gay or something...

But really-Zara-all that money, and that's the best you could do for a blouse? "Show us yer tits, luv!"
