I also want the DUers to know that the Cabaret community Jeff was so involved with will be doing a musical tribute to him in the near future...in NY. They will perform many of his original songs, which is the best way to honor him. They have also suggested a second tribute to Jeff, which would be a fund raiser for NNFF.org, or specifically for a young boy close to Jeff's hometown in CT who lost both of his legs to NF and is trying to raise money to buy prosthetic legs.

and the family will be so full of love from it. My brother had a musical tribute from the Opera and Musical Theater community in Houston after his death. I have never felt so wrapped in love in my entire life. :hug: to the family of wonderful Jeff. I know I feel the same as everyone else here, I miss him terribly, he was always so kind and often so funny.

Thank you! I am so very touched by all these sentiments! I didn't know about the loss you've sustained in your brother's death; I am so very sorry. How wonderful that his community came together for a musical tribute to him, and how healing for you...I'm sure Jeff's family will find healing in the musical revue that they will see, too.

And let me emphasize: Any time I have information from anyone in Jeff's family, I will post it so all of DU will be aware. I am honored to be able to help in this overwhelming loss. It is the very least that I can do.

23. I am going to say it again. I sure am going to miss Nostamj's poem threads

which kept popping up unexpectedly in the middle of the chaos. And how Jeff could always be counted on to jump into call to actions. And his wit. I'll miss that.
