Whats the message to those "Captain Morgan's Rum" commercials? |
|
You know, the ones where it shows people at there jobs or on the street taking the pose by the pirate character on the bottle. "There's a little Captain in them". Is this saying that the people are drinking on the job? Or are walking around under the influence?

1. Hey, those pirates spend a lot of time at sea!! |
|
I imagine some of the more tender crew members had no choice but to have a little Captain in 'em....!

of a dental hygenist or dentist or anyone somehow related to the medical profession having a little Captain Morgan in them on the job, is slightly disturbing to say the least.
I always found the ad to be promoting drinking on the job as well. Maybe I'm taking it too literally. They're just promoting the idea of acting like a drunk pirate character on the job.
Ah fuck it. I'll stick to Bacardi. Then again I'm not a big fan of rum anyways.

10. Ahoy Matey! I love the Capt'n and I think the ads are funny |
|
See, the thing about Capt'n drinkers is that we love to imitate pirates at some point, usually when preparing the first glass. Cheesy? Yea. Fun? Definitely.
So, I think the spots are pretty funny. The
