I just had a molar extracted
does anyone know how much i can expect to pay for an implant? It is the last tooth in the back. I am afraid my teeth will separate if I don't do something.

1. hope you feel ok
I had two back teeth extracted last year and so far everything is ok.
My oral surgeon did something so I don't need a implant. He was expensive but worth the money.:hi:

4. glad you are feeling ok
I don't remeber what he did, he is a jaw specialist.
I was sedated, I also had four wisdom teeth out.
The whole thing only last about 1 hour, so whatever he did wasn't very technical, the best thing was I didn't have a pain after.
I had pain pills but really didn't need them.
My friend went to a dental college and had two implants but in, saved a lot of money.
Since then I had one root canal and 6 crowns, no pain, I am no longer a dental coward.
Take good care of your hole, it will take little while to heal.
You might check into getting some herbal mouthwash to speed up the healing.
Take care.

3. If it's a wisdom tooth (third molar) you should be fine.
Mine are all gone, and I'm perfectly fine. They are usually taken out because they come in crooked or there is not enough room. :D

Many folks have them taken out in their teens or early twenties.
